Meet the Owner
Josh and his wife Annie are aquatics professionals with a passion for water safety.
As former Division 1 swimmers (at Syracuse University and University of California, Berkeley) they have been around water their whole lives as athletes, coaches, business owners, and parents.
After moving to Annie’s hometown of Sarasota, FL from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2016 and having their first child, Josh and Annie noticed a lack of quality learn to swim options for children in Sarasota and Manatee County. This led them to start their swim school, SwimSRQ, which has served thousands of students over the past 6 years by promoting safety, confidence, and a lifelong love of the water.
Becoming a part of A Safe Pool was a natural progression for the Scott’s as pool safety barriers are a crucial layer of protection.
As parents of 3 boys, they know the importance of water safety firsthand and look forward continuing to serve their community and helping keep families safe in and around water!
